I got an one year subscription to Oracle’s ULS (Unlimited Learning Subscription). This article will present my experience with courses including the materials and labs that I was able to access as a subscription owner.

I was quite lucky to have the subscription covered by my current employer otherwise I think the subscription is quite price even if it would be much less compared to the sum of the individual courses taken separately. So I can say that the subscription is worth if you consider dedicating a significant amount of time to learning.

The courses are all accessible online via usual workstations (works perfectly from my MacBook and I assume Windows PC’s would do as well – I have not tried Linux or FreeBSD but I see no reason why the courses would not work properly on those desktop platforms).
